Première Heure
bergamot, petitgrain, cold tea
Formulated to celebrate the morning opening of the salon. Cold-pressed green citrus cuts through mountain air before yielding to translucent white woods.
We compose four perfumes a year and rest each in small oak casks for eighteen months. Scroll to observe the opening top notes disperse, the heart bloom, and the quiet resinous base cling to skin until dawn.
Édition 07 · 400 flacons · 18 mo. oak
Botanical musk with a pear-skin nuance
Dry, cool limestone dust after rain
Noble rhizomes aged for 36 months, slow-distilled into butter
Metallic, aqueous crushed green leaves
Brushed sheepskin lining worn soft by hand
Golden rockrose resin harvested in the Esterel hills
We do not maintain a permanent commercial catalogue. Every year in Grasse, we formulate exactly four editions in batches of four hundred numbered bottles. Once an edition is claimed, the formula is catalogued and retired into the cellar vault.

orris butter, chalk, suede
The house signature. Three-year-aged orris root macerated with chalk dust and pale suede leather. It does not shout; it lingers like an echo in a stone cloister.

birch tar, labdanum, aged oud
A slow, smoldering study in patient woods. Heavy resinous tears melted over glowing coals, filtered through sweet clover and toasted tonka bean.

cypress, myrrh, benzoin
Named for the 17th-century Oratoire chapel on our street. The stillness of stone corridors in winter, illuminated by beeswax tapers and ancient resins.
A perfumer creates seated at an orgue — stepped semi-circular shelves of single distillations. Select one botanical harvest from each tier to assemble a bespoke accord, observe its batch code, and inspect how its sillage evolves through twelve hours.
Bespoke Accord
Vallauris, France + Grasse, France + Var, France
Located on Rue de l'Oratoire, our workshop operates without commercial production schedules. Distillates are compounded in small glass carboys, then poured into Limousin oak barrels to soften ethanol edges and allow the resinous molecules to harmonize.
Single-origin botanical extractions and rare resins cataloged in the laboratory ledger.
Every batch rests in small 50-litre Limousin oak casks to soften alcohol astringency.
Individually filled by gravity, sealed with natural baudruche, and inscribed by hand.
Four distinct compositions released with each turning of the agricultural seasons in Grasse.

Consultations are held privately in our Grasse townhouse. We do not spray on paper cards. Each formula is applied directly to warm skin, and we observe the dry-down over ninety minutes with cold mountain water and silence.
You leave with your bespoke formulation ledger and a numbered flacon from the current edition.
